Today is September 12th and we had our second practice. The songs are just beautiful. We enjoyed singing them with Alice Mongak leading us. Our piano player is Jim Desalvo. They are both wonderful. Jim is a professional with many years of schooling and studies behind him. I met a lot of great people who considered joining us. You don’t need to live here to join us. All you have to do is love music and enjoy singing. We have two concerts a year. We also perform our concert for the nursing home which is fun for them and us. At our Christmas and spring concerts we collect food for the food pantry. We have people bring in small gifts for the children’s hospital.
At Christmas we have a party with the Variety Club and the Fishing Club. We dance to beautiful music. The party is usually held at the Clarion with music by Piper’s Alley. I think we like to dance as much as we like to sing. If you have any questions, please give me a call.\

I wish you would come out and join us in making music. It’s healthy and good for you! Plus, you will meet some really nice people. I will try to carry on for Mary Monfilletto, but I can never take her place. She has moved to Florida and we will all miss her. We wish her much happiness in her new home, she deserves it! Our first practice will be on Wednesday Sept. 5th at 10am in Clubhouse #2. Our Christmas concert will be held on December 2nd at 2PM in CH2. I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of new faces, both male and female. We have two concerts a year, one in May and the other at Christmas

MAY 2018
